Monofloral Simpler monochromatic arrangements have been increasing in popularity, a deceptively simple bunch  of one color/one variety of a flower, massed in a beautiful vase or container. Orchids, iris, gerbera daisies, calla lilies, stock, roses or lillies are all beautiful in a monofloral  arrangement.

Lush, Texturized Arrangements  Floral Designs featuring an array of interesting textures add impact to the visual appeal of the floral design. Look for laceflower, kale, penies, hydrangea, parrot or frilled tulips, agapanthus and celosia in some of these beautiful designs.

Colors Color  trends in floral design also take their cue from fashion, both apparel and home furnishing trends reflect  in floral design colors. Natural tones such as that found in green hydrangea and Green Tea roses and  browns found in Leonidas roses  and Excellent Flair hypericum  berries have become very popular as they reflect the peaceful, tranquil nature of today's home decor.

Containers  Unique " designer" vases, in contemporary colors or clear glass,  are hot sellers as are square vases  Low cylinder vases work well for the popular  tightly clustered look. Cool bud vases, which hold a stem or two of a favorite flower, can be found in shapes from square to round and in heights from a very short  4" to a tall 24".

Natural Accents  You'll notice stones, pebbles, branches, moss and pods appearing more frequently in floral design, again reflecting the natural home decor trend.
