Simple care of your flowers can dramatically improve their life. Try these tips to make your flowers last and last!

Vase Arrangements

Care   Place your vase in a spot that is 65-70 degrees in temperature, out of direct sunlight and away from hot or cold drafts. Change  Change your vase water regularly, we recommend at least every other day, and add fresh flower food. Recut the stems 1/4" every three days to keep the hydration path to the flower head open.

Arrangements in Floral Foam

Care Place your arrangement in a spot that is 65-70 degrees in temperature, out of direct sunlight and away from hot or cold drafts. Add fresh water to your arrangement daily by placing your arrangement in the sink, adding a solution of flower food and water to the foam. Let the water solution drain off before removing from the sink. To prevent damage, always dry the bottom of your arrangement before placing it on a furniture. Foam cannot be resoaked once it has dried out so be sure to keep it saturated.

Fresh Flower Bouquet Care

Food  Using the flower food packet that your florist provided, fill a clean vase with a solution of flower food and water. Follow the instructions printed on the packet to get the proper ratio of flower food to water.

Prepare  Remove all foliage that will fall below the water line in the vase, usually at least 5".

Recut  Recut the flower stems approximately 1/4" from the bottom of the stem using a sharp knife or kitchen shears.

Arrange Place the flowers into the filled vase and arrange as you wish.
